Just ahead of it's official debut at this year's Chicago Auto Show, Ford has unveiled their 13th incarnation of a Harley Davidson Edition pickup truck. This is the latest, the 2010 Ford F150 Harley Davidson Edition.Considering both Ford truck and Harley Davidson motorcycle sales are down, there still must be demand for a mix of the two. Besides, Ford has yet to take a loan from the government, so more power to them.
Most notably, the Ford F150 Harley Davidson Edition separates itself from other F150's by a series of aesthetic upgrades, both inside and out. In addition to special edition Harley Davidson badges, the truck features a special Lava (maroon)/Tuxedo Black paint job, 22 inch wheels, new grille and retractable running boards.
Inside, the F150 Harley Edition really stands out. The matching two-tone maroon and black leather interior looks great. The interior of this truck looks like something that should be inside a truck with a Lincoln badge rather than the blue oval.
As for the engine, there's nothing new here. The Harley-Davidson Edition F150 will use the same 5.4-liter V8 as the other F150's, producing 320 hp and 390 lb/ft of torque.
As noted before, look for the F150 Harley Davidson Edition to be unveiled at this weeks Chicago Auto Show and reach showrooms most likely by fall with the rest of Ford's 2010 models.
