Following an 11.07 sec. (128mph) 1/4 mile run of the 700 horsepower Hennessey V700 Cadillac CTS-V, the longitudinal G's created from the launch caused OnStar to detect a "vehicle event." Check out the video below as the in-car camera catches the whole thing.It seems the ridiculously savage .99 g-force tripped the warning system into thinking the car was involved in an accident. I'm sure OnStar would have had a few more questions had heard the loud, loped idle of the car's high-cammed engine (notice the guy outside telling the driver to turn the car off).
